Mindfulness

by Kala on Dec. 17,  2014

The other night I was surprised to see Anderson Cooper talking about Mindfulness. I have started to use Mindfulness with my clients to manage stress and increase attention to tasks. I feel that children can also benefit from this practice and when done as a family can help reduce stress for not only the parent but the child as well. Living in the moment, the child can then attend and focus much better. There are a number of resources that can be adapted successfully to use with children.
