Recess helps kids learn better

As therapists we know the importance of recess for the kids we see. They help kids focus better and remember the information taught to them. When they aren’t given a break, I often see kids zone out and lose all focus. This article outlines the importance of recess for children and also links to some brain break ideas you can use.
